KANGETSU-TEI
A private garden built by Jihei Ogawa VII,
a landscape gardener who worked on numerous scenic spots such as Heian Jingu Shrine,
Maruyama Park, and Murin-an Villa. Set against the backdrop of Higashiyama mountain and the Philosopher's Path,
the garden that draws water from Lake Biwa Canal creates a pleasant murmuring in the water flow amidst the stillness.
The Sukiya-zukuri main house is filled with artful designs everywhere, making guests experience the beauty of Japan.
